Choosing the Right Workstation

When considering new office furniture it is important you choose a working partner who can deliver the best solution for your business.  It is often the case that a 'one size fits all' approach is adopted, but that too often leads to complaints post installation. Our experience is invaluable in helping you avoid this pitfall.

So how do you choose the right work station?

The workstation should be chosen to suit the individual's job function and work needs, whilst ensuring it coordinates with the overall aesthetics of your new work environment. We offer a 'try before you buy' facility to help you decide what is right for you from the myriad of shape and size available.

Managers often think desk size and shape dictate how many people can work in an office space. This is a misconception as the furniture is only a minor factor. Legislative requirements influence this not what looks good on plan and in 3D visualisations.

For example a space 10m wide, 10m deep, with a 3m floor to ceiling height can accommodate a maximum of 27 people. The same size space with a 2.4m floor to ceiling height can only legally accommodate a maximum of 21 people, but on plan it's the same footprint.

At TJ Hall we have the expertise to take you through this process. Further advice and information is just a telephone call away.
